Yes, except for saving changes. Scouting, browsing, the Facepack Installer and all other features are free. Writing your edits to the game requires a [license](https://docs.fmrte.com/26/help/licensing.md). ## Which game or platform do I need? Check [Supported platforms](https://docs.fmrte.com/26/getting-started/supported-platforms.md) for your game edition and update. ## Do I open my save file in FMRTE? Open the savegame in Football Manager first, then select **Load Game** in FMRTE. ## What is the difference between saving in FMRTE and saving in FM? **Save Changes** updates the running game. Saving in Football Manager keeps those changes in the save file. ## Can I undo an edit? See [Recovery options](https://docs.fmrte.com/26/getting-started/backups-and-recovery.md). ## I saved an edit, but cannot see it in the game Reopen the same player's screen and follow [the saving checks](https://docs.fmrte.com/26/help/troubleshooting.md#a-changed-value-did-not-stick). ## Why do player attributes change back? Follow the [saving checks](https://docs.fmrte.com/26/help/troubleshooting.md#a-changed-value-did-not-stick). If attributes change after the game advances, see [ability balancing](https://docs.fmrte.com/26/players/ability.md). ## My player still cannot play after I healed them Read the game's reason. [Injuries](https://docs.fmrte.com/26/players/injuries.md), [bans](https://docs.fmrte.com/26/players/unavailability.md) and [registration](https://docs.fmrte.com/26/players/registration-and-permits.md) are separate. ## Does the Facepack Installer generate faces? No. It assigns images from a facepack you provide. ## Why did changing a name affect another player? Names can share text records. See [name-editing limits](https://docs.fmrte.com/26/players/personal-details.md#change-a-players-name). ## Should I turn on Debug Mode? Use it when support asks for a diagnostic log. It is not a general fix. ## What about achievements or online play? Achievement outcomes and online host/client compatibility are not confirmed here. Check with support for your setup. ## What should I include in a support request? Use the [support report template](https://docs.fmrte.com/26/help/troubleshooting.md#bug-report-template) for versions, steps, errors and screenshots. Keep license keys private.
