Editing competitions and fixtures

Use Information for competition details. Stages / Fixtures contains experimental controls with more limited support.

Can I change fixture dates or match results?

TaskCurrent answer
Change an individual fixture dateFixture Date is disabled.
Change a played resultNot supported.
Change a round's draw or start dateSeparate round fields; their game effects still need confirmation.
Recalculate qualifiers or later roundsNo confirmed workflow.
Add U21 teams or move B teams between divisionsNo confirmed procedure for an existing save.
Rewrite transfer windows or league rulesNo confirmed live-editing procedure. FMF files apply when starting a savegame.

Why is Edit Fixture greyed out?

Played fixtures are non-editable. Experimental controls also depend on the loaded game edition and update; enabling the setting does not unlock every field.

If an upcoming fixture is unavailable, include the competition, stage, round and game date in a support report.

A small information edit

Information includes reputation, colours, winter-ball dates and substitution rules. Competition Reputation uses 1–200.

Competition Information with reputation and standings

Worked example: raise reputation by one point

Open the competition, change Reputation from 150 to 151, and select Save Changes. Reopen it to check the stored value, then check the competition in Football Manager.

Enable Stages / Fixtures

  1. Open Settings and select Enable Experimental Features.
  2. Save Settings.
  3. Open the competition's Stages / Fixtures page, if available.
  4. Read the warning shown in the app.

Experimental changes can leave later rounds or other competition data inconsistent.

Inspect an upcoming fixture

Choose Stage, Match and Round, then select a fixture. Check its teams, date and stadium against Football Manager. Only enabled fields can be changed; their current game effects still need confirmation.

Limits that affect the result

Editing a field does not rebuild played matches, statistics, qualifiers or later rounds. A team swap is not a complete league-structure editor.
