Swapping staff jobs

Swap two staff jobs​

  1. Open Swap Staff on the first person.
  2. Search beside Other Person Details → Name for the second.
  3. Choose Swap club, Swap nation, or both.
  4. Check both jobs and read Notes. Staff generally need the same job, or one must be a free agent.
  5. Save, look for Jobs swapped successfully, and check both people in Football Manager.

Human-manager swapping is not supported.

Move a coach from reserves to the first team​

Changing Coach or Assistant Manager attributes does not move someone into that job. Use Football Manager's job or contract options where available.

Direct reassignment and arbitrary job changes are not confirmed here. If using Swap Staff, follow its job-compatibility checks; an incompatible swap is not fixed by raising attributes.

Change only a national-team job​

Select Swap nation and clear Swap club, then check Notes before saving. This exchanges eligible national jobs; it is not a standalone contract-termination action.
