If the tab is missing, the selected club may not have players with the required tactical-familiarity data.

Use the club's Match Preparation page to adjust tactical familiarity for one team. Tactical familiarity is different from team cohesion.

What the values mean​

Choose the team at the top. The eight Actual values use 0–100:

Formation, Mentality, Passing Style, Creative Freedom, Closing Down, Marking, Tempo and Width.

The displayed values are team averages. Saving writes your entered values to the selected team's players.

Team selection and eight tactical-familiarity values

Worked example: raise Mentality familiarity slightly​

  1. Open Match Preparation and choose the first team.
  2. Change Mentality from 60 to 65.
  3. Select Save Changes.
  4. Check the team's tactical familiarity in Football Manager.

The top-right arrow sets all eight values to 100. Type into one field if you only want a small change.
