Using miniFMRTE

miniFMRTE is a small, always-on-top editor that follows the player or staff member open in Football Manager.

Open it on Windows

1. Load your savegame in Football Manager.
2. Open miniFMRTE from the Windows Start menu.
3. Wait for game loaded, then open a player or staff profile in the game.
4. Check that miniFMRTE shows the same person.

For a portable installation without a shortcut, launch FMRTE with the --miniFMRTE argument. Mac and Linux startup are not covered by a confirmed procedure here.

Choose what the window shows

1. Select Settings in the title bar, then Player or Staff.
2. Use Add row, Remove last row, Add Column and Remove last column to arrange the grid.
3. Choose a property for each cell.
4. Adjust opacity and text size if needed.
5. Select Settings again to save the layout and leave configuration mode.

Player and staff layouts are separate. Window position and opacity are saved when miniFMRTE closes.

Edit and verify one value

You need an activated license to edit.

1. Confirm the person shown in miniFMRTE.
2. Click a value, enter the change, then click outside the field to save it.
3. Reopen the profile in Football Manager and check the result.

There is no separate Save Changes button in the mini window.

If it does not update

Check game loaded, open a full player or staff profile, and wait a few seconds. On other screens it may show an earlier record or no data.

If detection keeps failing, check the player shown and search manually. Update FMRTE if the mini window will not start or save.
